Judo 

Judo can be studied as an art,  method of self defense, an Effective way to keep in shape, competitive sport or as a way of life. 

Techniques of throwing, grappling, arm-locks strangle-holds allows students to train with 100%  effort yet without fear of serious injury.   

THE MEANING OF JUDO 

Judo is literally translated as “the gentle way.” This means by Using the principles of 'maximum efficiency' and “minimum Effort" one can succeed in all endeavors. 

On the mat one sometimes hears the phrase “using the Opponents weight against himself this illustrates the above principles. However, in order to use these techniques. 

Diligent study requiring long hours of mental and physical preparation are needed once one succeeds in his goals on the mat. These same principles can be applied to daily life.
